UN
PROYECTO DE ATENCIÓN A LA DIVERSIDAD
A continuación, os presentamos este proyecto desarrollado por profesores
del instituto, en relación con la atención a la diversidad.
Hoy en día, es un desafío para los educadores ofrecer una educación de
calidad sin discriminación, donde la integración y la diversidad tienen
una importancia especial como elementos enriquecedores para todos los
involucrados en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje.
PROGRAMACIÓN
Este es nuestro esquema. El proyecto se divide en dos partes: la atención
a la diversidad en Extremadura y la atención a la diversidad en nuestro
propio centro educativo.
Durante el año escolar 2016/2017, se reunirá toda la información referente
a cómo nuestra región se ocupa de la diversidad: tales como, los sectores
gubernamentales responsables de temas relacionados con la educación, la
legislación, la oferta de programas educativos y los recursos.
Durante el año escolar 2017-2018, se desarrollarán y elaborarán los temas
relacionados con la atención a la diversidad en nuestro centro, tales
como la oferta del personal especializado y los alumnos con dificultades
de aprendizaje. Además, durante este año, la escuela diseñará una
plataforma online donde se incluirán todas las actividades realizadas
con estudiantes con necesidades especiales.
ATENCIÓN A LA DIVERSIDAD EN EXTREMADURA
Hasta ahora, hemos estado trabajando en los siguientes temas.

- Aulas especializadas para alumnado con necesidades especiales.
- Talleres específicos de FPB para alumnado con necesidades especiales.
- Otros programas de atención a la diversidad.
- Recursos que nos ofrecen las administraciones educativas.
ADMINISTRACIÓN
EDUCATIVA
En
Extremadura, la Consejería de Educación y Empleo tiene las
competencias autonómicas en política educativa y formación,
educación universitaria, trabajo y políticas de empleo y deportes.
Según
su estructura orgánica, la Secretaría General de Educación tendrá
las funciones de dirección, coordinación y supervisión de todas
las materias de educación no universitarias.
Extremadura
tiene 2 Delegaciones Provinciales, una en cada provincia, ubicadas en
la capital de la provincia.
Dentro
de cada Delegación Provincial, existe un departamento de Atención a
la Diversidad que depende de la Unidad de Programas Educativos.
Además
de estos organismos, Extremadura consta con un Servicio de Programas
Educativos y Atención a la Diversidad situado en Mérida.
LEGISLACIÓN
Esta
es la normativa vigente sobre la Atención a la Diversidad.
En
estas leyes se regulan los procedimientos de evaluación,
escolarización, permanencia y mejora del aprendizaje y del
rendimiento del alumnado con necesidades educativas especiales.
LEGISLACIÓN
Esta es la legislación vigente que regula el funcionamiento y la organización
de los Equipos de Orientación Educativa y Psicopedagógica de los Equipos de
Atención Temprana. PROTOCOLOS DE ACTUACIÓN La Consejería de Educación, establece diferentes protocolos en colaboración
con entidades públicas y privadas, así como protocolos de intervención interna.
Todos se realizan en un esfuerzo por mejorar la eficiencia y calidad de la educación. Tenemos los siguientes protocolos:
Un protocolo de intervención para alumnos con discapacidad visual,
Un protocolo de atención médica para estudiantes con enfermedades raras
Un protocolo de intervención para emergencias médicas en el centro educativo.
Un protocolo para estudiantes con TDAH, Trastorno de Hiperactividad por
Una colaboración entre el personal sanitario contratado en las escuelas
PROGRAMAS PARA LA MEJORA DEL ÉXITO EDUCATIVO (2014 -2020)
Estos son los programas actuales en Extremadura para la mejora del éxito
escolar y la disminución del abandono y de las tasas de fracaso académico.
Ellos son financiados por el Fondo Social Europeo, del año 2014 al 2020.
Los profesores que trabajan en estos programas deben justificar su
horario al Fondo Social Europeo y el centro debe seguir unas normas
de publicidad e información, así como una justificación detallada del
gasto de estos programas.
Los programas son los siguientes:
REMA, que se imparte por la tarde, desde el tercer curso de primaria
COMUNICA: es otro programa que se imparte por la mañana, de 3º a 6º
IMPULSA: se imparte también durante la sesión de la mañana durante

dos últimos años de primaria y los dos primeros años de secundaria
AULAS ESPECÍFICAS
Extremadura tiene varias aulas especializadas que están equipadas para atender
a estudiantes con necesidades especiales.
Aulas abiertas especializadas en centros ordinarias para alumnado con
Aulas especializadas para estudiantes con autismo.
OFERTA FORAMTIVA
Nuestra oferta formativa es la siguiente:
Aulas abiertas especializadas: 5 aulas situadas en escuelas primarias
Aulas especializadas para estudiantes con autismo: 8 aulas en la
También hay 8 aulas en la provincia de Cáceres (7 en escuelas primarias y 1 en un
centro de secundaria). Plasencia, nuestra ciudad, tiene 2 de estas aulas especializadas
en escuelas de primarias.
TALLLERES ESPECÍFICOS DE FORMACIÓN PROFESIONAL BÁSICA PARA ACNEAE
La
FPB es una medida de atención a la diversidad para el alumnado que
no ha superado la educación secundaria obligatoria y quiere
iniciarse en la Formación Profesional. Tiene una duración de 2
años, pudiendo permanecer hasta 4 años máximo. El alumnado debe
tener entre 15 y 17 años. El número máximo de alumnos por aula es
de 15, con 2 plazas reservadas para alumnos con necesidades
especiales, reduciéndose entonces a 13 alumnos, si se ocupan las
plazas por discapacitación.
Tiene
una estructura modular variable y los contenidos son teórico
prácticos. Desarrollan una parte de la formación en empresas y/o
instituciones. El alumnado que termine recibirá un título de
Técnico Profesional Básico, con una cualificación de nivel 1 y
podrá cursar un ciclo medio de Formación Profesional. Además si el
equipo docente lo considera recibirá también el Título de
Educación Secundaria Obligatoria.
La
FPB Específica está dirigida al alumnado con necesidades especiales
para favorecer su inclusión educativa. Se adaptarán medidas
metodológicas para el logro de los resultados, medidas organizativas
y planes personalizados, según la discapacidad.
Estas
enseñanzas están cofinanciadas por el Ministerio de Educación y el
Fondo Social Europeo. FSE 2014/2020.
OFERTA FORMATIVA
La
oferta formativa de FPB específica del curso 2016/2017 ha sido la
siguiente: 8 centros educativos (7 colegios de educación especial
y un centro de secundaria) distribuidos en ambas provincias y
ofertando modalidades diferentes, tales como: carpintería y mueble,
electricidad y electrónica, reparación de artículos textiles y de
piel, limpieza y trabajo doméstico, artes gráficas, auxiliar
administrativo, gardinería y alojamiento y trabajo doméstico.
El
CEE «Ponce de León» de Plasencia, nuestra ciudad, imparte un
taller específico para alumnado con necesidades especiales de
gardinería.
PROGRAMAS DE ATENCIÓN A LA DIVERSIDAD Otros programas educativos de atención a la diversidad, que buscan la mejora
educativa, y que se están desarrollando en nuestra región son:
- Programa de lengua y cultura portuguesa: un programa de fomento de la educación bilingüe. Se están adoptando medidas para que el portugués sea la segunda lengua extranjera. Los centros acogidos a este programa realizarán convivencias escolares durante este curso.
- Programa Construye tu mundo: La Secretaría General de Educación en colaboración con la Secretaría Técnica de Drogodependencias de Extremadura han puesto en marcha este programa, dirigido al alumnado de infantil, primaria y secundaria. Este Programa, pretende retrasar la edad de inicio en el consumo de alcohol, tabaco y drogas ilegales y también promover posturas activas y participativas en el entorno social y estilos de vida más saludables.
RECURSOS
En esta sección se presentan las guías publicadas por la Consejería de educación
de Extremadura relativas a la Atención a la Diversidad y dirigidas a estudiantes
con necesidades especiales:
Ceguera y discapacidad visual.
La discapacidad auditiva.
Atención a la diversidad.
Deficiencia motora.
Estudiantes con TDAH.
Estudiantes con trastornos del lenguaje oral y escrito.
Estudiantes con autismo.
Abuso infantil.
RECURSOS
Además, en nuestra región, hay otros recursos disponibles para ayudarnos
a mejorar la atención dada a la diversidad. Por ejemplo:
• Los recursos online de EDUCAREX.
• La plataforma educativa extremeña RAYUELA. El principal objetivo de
Rayuela es proporcionar un servicio online eficiente a toda la comunidad
educativa de Extremadura (maestros, padres, estudiantes, etc.). Rayuela
ayuda en la gestión de tareas académicas y administrativas en todos los
centros educativos (ausencias de los estudiantes, evaluaciones y
calificaciones, documentos, lista de estudiantes, entre otros).
ATENCIÓN A LA DIVERSIDAD EN NUESTRA INSTITUTO
Estos han sido los temas en los que hemos estado trabajando en los últimos
meses, y los que seguiremos trabajando el resto de este año.
En el próximo año, estaremos evaluando la atención a la diversidad
trabajando en los siguientes temas:
Oferta educativa.
Departamento de Orientación Educativa y Psicológica.
Mediciones de Atención a la Diversidad.
Maestros especializados.
Infraestructura Material.
Recursos.
Estudiantes con necesidades especiales.
Metodología.
Inclusión Educativa.

A PROJECT ON ATTENTION TO DIVERSITYIn continuation, we present to you this projectdevelopped by the teachers of my school, regarding the attention given to diversity.Nowdays, it is a challenge for educators to offer a quality education without discrimination, where intergration and diversity hold a special importance as enriching elements for all involved in the processes of teaching and learning.PROGRAMMINGThis is our outline. The project is divided into 2 parts: the attention given to diversity in Extremadura and the attention to diversity in our own educational centre.
- During the school year 2016/2017, all information referring to how our region deals with diversity will be gathered; such as the governmental sectors responsible for education related topics, legislation, the offer of educational programs as well as ressources.
- During the 2017/2018 school year, the themes related to the attention to diversity in our centre will be developped and elaborated. The formative training , specialized staff and students with learning difficulties.
Moreover, during this year, the school will design an
online platform where all activities executed with special needs
students will be portrayed.
ATTENTION
TO DIVERSITY IN EXTREMADURA
Up until now, we've been working on the following
themes.

- The administrative divisions in charge of education in our region.
- The regulations towards the attention to diersity and educational orientation.
- The intervention protocols of the internal ministry of education and other entities.
- Programs for the improvement of current educational success.
- Specialized classrooms for special needs students.
- Specific Basic Vocational Training workshops for special needs students.
- Other programs related to attention to diversity.
- Recourses offered by the educational administration offices.
EDUCATIONAL
ADMINISTRATION
In this organigram are represented the branches
pertaining to educational policies and training, university education
, work and employment and sports policies.
The General Secretary of Educattion is responsible for
coordinating, directing and supervising all non university related
matters.
In Extremadura there are 2 provincial delegations: one
in the province of Cáceres and the other in Badajoz. Within each
provincial delegation, there is an Attetion to Diversity Departament.
In addition, Extremadura has an Education Programs and Attention to
Diversity Service, located in Mérida.
LEGISLATION
These are the currently applied regulations related to
the Attention to Diversity.
These laws regulate evaluation, schooling, endurance and
learning improvement procedures and students with special needs
efficiency.
LEGISLATION
This is the current legislation that regulate the
running and organization of Educational and Psychological Guidance
and Early Attendance Teams.
ACTION
PROTOCOLS
The Education office establishes different protocols in
collaboration with public and private entities, as well as internal
intervention protocols. All are done in an effort to improve the
efficiency and quality of education.
We have the following protocols:
- An intervention protocol for visually impaired students, in collaboration with ONCE, the Spanish national organization of the blind.
- A healthcare protocol for students with rare illnesses in the school.
- An intervention protocol for medical emergencies in educational centre.
- A protocol for diabetic students, ensuring their physical, mental and social adaptation, and looking out for their well-being.
- A protocol for students with ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperctive Disorder.
- A collaboration between hired healthcare personnel in the schools and teachers.
- PROGRAMS
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS
These are the current programs in Extremadura for the
improvement of scholary success and the diminshment of drop-out and
academic failure rates.
They are financed by the European Social Fund, from 2014
to 2020. The teachers that work in these programs must justify and
log their expenses, schedule and hours, as well as follow specific
ruler regarding plublicized informattion from the organization.
The following programs ar as such:
- REMA, which is given in the afternoon, from 3 rd grade to the 3 rd year of high school.
- COMUNICA: is another program that is given in the morning, from 3 rd grade to 6 th grade in primary school.
- IMPULSA: is also given during the morning session during the fist year of high school.
- The program “IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE AND SOCIO EDUCATIONAL INSERTION” is, again, given during the mornings for the last two years of primary school and the first two years of high school.
SPECIALIZED
CLASSROOMS
Extremadura has several specialized classrooms that are
equipped to deal with special needs students.
- Open specialized classrooms in ordinary schools for students with special needs.
- Specialized classrooms for students with Autism.
- TRAINING
EDUCATIONAL OFFER
Our training offered is as following:
- Open specialized classrooms: 5 classrooms located in public primary schools in the province of Cáceres.
- Specialized Classrooms for students with Autism: 8 classrooms in the province of Badajoz ( 7 classes in primary schools and 1 in secondary school). There are also 8 rooms in the province of Cáceres (7 in primary schools and 1 in a secondary school). Plasencia, our city, has 2 of these specialized classrooms in primary schools.
SPECIALIZED
WORKSHOPS FOR BASIC VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL
NEEDS
Basic Vocational Training is a way in which to pay
attention to diversity, in that students who are unable to complete
their mandatory secondary education can still access specific
vocational training courses.
Its duration is a total of 2 years, but can be extended
up to a maximum of 4 years. The student must be between the ages of
15 to 17. The maximun number of students in the classrooms is 15,
with 2 spots allocated to special needs students. Is those two spots
are filled, the ratio is lowered to 13 students.
These workshops have a varying structure based on
modules of different lengths, with both theoretical and practical
components. These workshops are conducted in companies and/or
institutions, during the last trimester of each year.
Upon completion, the students will recieve a Basic
Professional degree, giving them a level 1 qualification to continue
on to furthes professional vocational training.
The Special Basic Vocational Training is designed for
students with special needs, favouring their educational integration.
Curricular adaptations are made, according to students disabilities,
and personalized programs are created so they able to achieve set
results.
TRAINING
EDUCATIONAL OFFER
The Basic Professional formation training offered during
the 2016/2017 school year has been the following: 8 education centres
(7 special education centres and 1secondary school).
In both provinces there are several different
specialized workshops used, such as:
• Carpentry and furniture.
• Electricity and electronics.
• Reparing of textile and leather goods.
• Cleaning and housework.
• Gardening.
• Graphic arts.
• Adminstrative assistant.
The special education centre “Ponce de León” in
Plasencia delivers a special gardering workshop for special needs
students.
PROGRAMS
OF ATTENTION TO DIVERSITY
Other educational programs working on Attencion to
Diversity that are offered in our region are:
• Portuguese Language and Culture program : a program
seeking to encourage bilingual education. Steps are being taken to
make portuguese the second foreign language taught. The chosen
centres participating in this program must arrange for student
exchanges during this school year.
• Build Your World Program: The General Secretariat fo
Education in collaboration with the Secretariat of Drug dependency of
Extremadura have put in place this program, directed towards primary
and secondary students. The objetive is to delay the age at which
students begin to consume alcohol, tabacco and other illegal drugs,
as well as promoting healthies lifestyle choices.
RESOURCES
Presented in this section are the guides published by
the Council of Extremadura pertaining to the Attention to Diversity
towards students with special needs:
- Blindness and visual impairment.
- Hearing impairment.
- Attention to diversity.
- Motor impairment.
- Students with TDAH.
- Students with oral and written language disorder.
- Students with Autism.
- Child Abuse.
RESOURCES
Furthermore, in our region, there are other resources
available to us to help us improve the attention given to diversity.
For example:
• The online resources of EDUCAREX.
• The Extremaduran educational platform RAYUELA.
Rayuela's main objetive is to provide an efficient online service to
the entire educational community in Extremadura (teacher, parents,
students,etc). Rayuela aids in the management of academic and
administrative tasks in all educational centres (students absences,
evaluations and grades, documents, student list, among other).
ATTENTION
TO DIVERSITY IN OUR SCHOOL
These have been the themes that we have been working the
last few months, and will continue the rest of this year.
In the upcoming year, we will be evaluating how our
centre places attention on diversity through the following themes:
- Educational offer.
- Educational and Psychologist Orientation Departament.
- Measurements of Attention to Diversity.
- Specialized Teachers.
- Material Infraestructure.
- Resources.
- Students with special needs.
- Methodology.
- Educational Inclusion.
